Re: Pioneer Trains development thread
This looks amazing! As does Leeds Station - although I must point out, that IRL the DVT is at that end of the Leeds station - the DVT is at the Southern end of the train, the 91 at the North. But we can always pretend it's been turned around until the day comes that the DVT is ready to roll.

Is this a new route in development I presume, haven't seen any announcements about it.
Is it the Pioneer team making it?

Re: Pioneer Trains development thread
Well now the 91 has had a few days to be downloaded, i thought i would have a go at another 3D cab, something for a few people to talk about for a bit, i remember speaking to Gray, and his main (and valid) point was the constraints of the 3d cab and the limited view, so i thought this next train to be a good one to hopefuly show him there is a plus side

Re: Pioneer Trains development thread
A lot of work gone in already, still a long way to go.
Tone down the colours, and ditch that "bookmatched" sky, it looks totally wrong. Its Yorkshire, not the bloody mediterranean! You are still using straight rail on curves, so a lot of track to build still.
Keep at it, you're doing OK.

Re: Pioneer Trains development thread
all work from this site is now totally open to users to edit and modify. we will over the next year release the updated exteriors ( thanks to anthony B for help with them) and hopefully the 180 will be along with them, but as from now pioneer trains ceases development. they're a few updated meshed i have, which ill pop to drop box for users to have a tinkle with, the class 390 exterior will be finished as and when i find time but i'm afraid police duties and work come first.
and a special thanks to Alan, for his help with the meshes, without we wouldn't be where we are today. thanks to Adam for making a great partnership over 2 years ago as well, save to say in them two years the download numbers were impressive, at sometimes a shock to us as well! but an even bigger thank you to you, the users.

Hey I object - I've lived in West Yorkshire and it's often not rained/sleeted/snowed!
Ben
I've got a friend who lives near me who was a Virgin driver trainer working out of Wakefield until three or four years ago. Any use to you before I contact him?

Re: Pioneer Trains development thread
Well, that leaves me to wish you the best of luck I guess... I think everyone can understand the work duties are more important. I have a feeling this is not the end, though - every time I thought I would have to give up, an opportunity to continue presented itself.
Time will tell then...
