Re: Pioneer Trains development thread
Well as soon as i can get some running times I'll be a happy chap
i have now started on the mark4 DVT and that now almost ready to be put into trial. only thing is im not adding the whole textures during beta.
But I've decided the flying Scotsman skin will be the one to go with

Re: Pioneer Trains development thread
I think you will find he IS the train builder!!
There's no magic software program to do the job, it is all hand coded, see knowledge section for details of known available tutorials.

Ah.
Re: Pioneer Trains development thread
That is starting to look amazing - out of interest, what kind of PC are you using? It must be quick to give you action as fluid as that - especially with the screen capture software performing a video recording!

Re: Pioneer Trains development thread
Either I should upgrade my PC, or get OpenBVE to work on my mac.

Do you really only have 3GBs of RAM?
Re: Pioneer Trains development thread
MY current cards that are in , Yes! but i have another 2 x 4 Gb and my motherboard can support them, but there really isn't no point, my Graphics card has 2GB built into it, So thats 5 GB altogether i can run (I've just tried) OpenBVE, Flight simulator 2004 and fraps at the same time and can hit over 40 FPS
Maybe i should show some "bve4trainz" work related images to show i haven't gone totally quiet

Re: Pioneer Trains development thread
I see. But if you add RAM into your motherboard, you will need a 64-bit Windows.

I imagine the 'Leeds' sign means this will be an object used in the Airedale Line route currently in development?
