Hello (BVE issue)
Hey guys!
Just got back into BVE, and downloaded OpenBVE the other day, however i can't find any routes for it that are 100% compatible?
I downloaded the Northern Line route that said it was for BVE4 and OpenBVE but it just came up with a black screen.
Also the verified downloads section confuses me, there are routes there too right?
Thanks

Re: Hello (BVE issue)
Hello b9y,
yes, there are also routes in our verified downloads. The black screen is apparently not a problem of the route, it could well be some dependency missing in your PC. Try checking for your newest graphic driver and make sure you have .NET framework version 4.0

+ please do not respond in the "verified downloads" section, it is clearly stated there. If you have questions regarding any route, try to contact the author directly via pm, OR search his development thread in the "development center", OR if he does not have one, rise that question here OR in technical section.
Thank you.
Thank you.

I tried downloading this for OpenBVE but just got a black screen and a cab view, help?! :O
Firstly, the network map is exactly that. A map.
To download the routes and rolling stock you need to visit the celtictrainsim.com site. The installation of items into the bve folder structure follows normal practice, as it says on the site. Further guides to installing the program and its dependencies correctly are in the section concerning the sim program, with links to more help.
A black screen when loading a route is almost always due to failing to put the objects in the right place or incorrectly set folder structure.
Re: Hello (BVE issue)
I just had a look at structuring and managed to do it! oh that's weird i thought it would still work no matter what order it was in *face palm*. Thank you guys, and sorry for posting on the wrong section, i should of read everything fully, yet still managed to miss the big '!' mark.
This is why i shouldn't be up at 3am!

Haha, it happens to everyone I guess. It's good to hear you got it sorted, we might have a new user then.
