Come on, nobody blames you with anything. It is just a matter of that some people need to clear up a few things and some people think other users are who they are not. It's that simple.

Yeah things were starting to go around in circles there! XD
Thanks for saving us from that Derryck!
Perhaps some sort of creative commons - or creative commons itself - could be introduced to the BVE community? It works on a good number of art sites - and I think potentially it could deter the steal-and-self-credit types...

If any of you were wondering about the closure of BRT, well. I was passed on some screenshots which were, well, without putting it bluntly, taking the mick. I forwarded these on to Richard Heliwell, with my personal view on the situation and what should be done. We came to the agreement that BRT was being abused by certain people and no longer was serving the purpose that it was intended for. The 'community' had a new changing face, and BRT was not 'apart of that' according to the leaders of this new face. Rather than fight it, or get a one up on someone? It was shut and no further comment was made on mine and Rich's behalf for some time. However, there were others who were fighting (not on our behalf I might add), but in anger and agreement around the same issues as we did, which eventually has lead to the situation we have now.
Just a little comment on this part. The screenshots (as far as I know) have been taken by a hacker or at least by someone, who stole password of one of the administrators of BVET. I have gone through an interesting experience of becoming suspected from taking and sending those screenshots to some emails that I didn't even know. Fortunately there has been enough evidence to prove that I am not the guilty party. It is interesting (and also disgusting) how far can some people go when it comes to tossing mud at the others. Fortunately the hacking case has not happened here and is therefore not connected with this forum.
Talking about that, I sometimes have to ask myself whether it is worth being a part of such rotten community...
And it also brings up one question. Where is the proposed attitude change? So far, I have not identified one sentence of self-criticism; everything is still a fault of "the others". This is not the right attitude and it is not going to take us anywhere. I will now lock this thread and it is up to you to decide; you can either stay here, behind the locked gate, or move on with the proposed honest attitude. Your choice.
