Current work on the 185 cab, below is the current released version and the updated version. still early days but thought id share the progress. (reduced pixels for the preview) 

Looks amazing! I don’t suppose you could do something similar for the 360 as well could ya?

Class 185 external progress for v2.0

i have now moved all the windows back more so that there are no overlapping textures in either the game or the viewer which should remove issues noted regarding overlapping.






the new door steps are now on the body to compliment the new livery 


Testing of the new cab along the route to improve the quality for both the daytime and nighttime cab texture,and more work has been made on the sounds to try flatten out choppy acceleration sound files.

Looking good! Not that it'd come as a surprise ;-) I'm looking forward to giving it a run some day.

Very respectable, Good work.

More work completed on the bogies and the undercarriage today, still got to add the steps on the front bogie on the 1st and 3rd car but that is on the "to do" list.

work is still to be done on the middle car. but here is the current progress in a 3 car format.

More work done along the sides of the train with added "shadows" to hide any gaps that stood out in v1.0. I wont be adding anymore cylinders to v2.0 to try keep the FPS as high as possible. but will try to add a better network of 2d pipes if required.

More work done on the external again today. started to add the darker grey areas outlining the windows, and added the "light" to the internal section. 

I've also added reflections to the ground alongside the train, although this is only on the first car for now.

There was a couple of door problems with the 180. With the driving cars doors would open on the wrong side and some doors were put the wrong way round. I’ve fixed it on my version. Do you want me to send it so you can put it up?

In short, yes. I plan on getting the GC updated with patch .csv files so it’s a case of adding them to the FHT version for a smooth update once completed

Although the 180 will never be used along this line, i thought i would show a screenshot  from the Airedale Line. This is just outside Saltaire Train station.

the amazing cab can be sourced here ( https://sites.google.com/a/bve4trains.com/bve4trains/ ) . i strongly recommend downloading it! 100's of hours spent on refining it to the standard its currently at.

Class 158 WIP images. this will be added as a route file and released as an external body for players to use.
