Development Builds: Changes Empty Development Builds: Changes

This topic aims to describe the main changes made in the current series of development builds.

End-Users:



  • In-game menu and loading screens rewritten.
  • Route maps/ gradient profile now available in-game.
  • Back end ported from libtao to OpenTK. (No longer requires SDL to be installed)


Route Developers:


Route Files-

  • Added the ability to select a custom loading-screen image on a per-route basis.
  • Added the ability to select a custom speed unit display for overspeed/ signal messages.
  • Added railtypes to the available Cycle commands.


Plugin Interface-

  • Added the ability to play a sound emenating from any car in the train.
  • Added the current curve radius, cant and pitch to the values available from the plugin interface.
  • Added the current camera view to the values available from the plugin interface.


Animated Files-

  • Added the current curve radius, cant and pitch to the values available.
  • Added an Odometer function.
  • Added the functions Random and RandomInt to return random numbers.
  • Added the current camera mode.
  • Added the new function TrackFollowerFunction to translate objects along the path of Rail 0.
