Looks good but the size of the windows looks a bit out, I think they are a little to big.

Will download when I get chance, re the windows, I think it's the height that is slightly out, they need to be the same size (height) as the door windows.

Work along the route is progressing well, we have now started to fill in the scenery around the lines whilst trying to add many landmarks and buildings that are noted along the route from the drivers eye view.

The track work is coming along nicely and a lot of work is going into making new OHLE with 3D Lines along the route. The tests so far have shown a decent FPS with the OHLE in place, so we are hoping the FPS doesn’t drop too much once its all in, if it does we will have to rethink the OHLE.

Saltaire now has new line side scenery after the exit from the station filling in the gaps from the canal to the track work. We will add “Hughes bakery” just behind Hirst Lane bridge.

Old below

New below, we now need to start adding field fences and animals. but that is for a later date.

More work is also under way on the exit over the AVTR / A650 heading into the “final straight” before Bingley. We have now started to populate the area and need to finish off roads and shrubbery, but a few houses along the way are now added.

It's looking decent, but I don't understand the state of that bridge... I suppose it is going to be extended (sidewise)...

You'd be surprised how many "it's there 'cause it's there"-bridges we have in Germany. One even very similar to this one. Might as well be intended to stay this way!

Well, the photo suggests there is something to the left of it... maybe a supporting wall, maybe a hill, whatever... but this is typically not just a standalone construction.

The OHLE is going on last along with the shadows. The bridge is built in 3 parts, the main part is showing. The 2 other parts are now added which include the bank, pavement and fence.

Morning all!

I’m currently making Keighley train station, for those who may not know it, this station splits in two with Keighley Worth Valley Railway  running alongside the main line platforms.

KWVR runs mainly steam locomotives and I’m wondering if anyone has any “objects” that I can include on the KWVR platform. I’m aware Leezer has an extremely good steam loco he released a while back, but does anyone has any steam locomotives object files and coaches that could be used as objects stationary on the platform?

you're welcome to use the UK  "heritage" stuff on the celtictrainsim site, or any old wagons from the "Cheltenham" route. Don't have any "kettles", though! Very Happy

(Keighley's changed since I were there last - Asda and campus building weren't up then!!)

AFAIK, I've got the only recent / 3D steam that's anywhere close to the UK Razz
(Three to be precise- 16xx Pannier, 78xx Manor and 81xx Large Prarie)

Only other UK steam I'm aware of are a Black 5 (Various BVE2 routes, can't remember offhand who built it) and a Westcountry (Somerset & Dorset BVE2)

Steam in general for BVE is somewhat thin on the ground.....

Could always dump a long rake of Graymac's Mk1 coaches with a 47 on the front in the KWVR platform...
