Re: Guess the station!
Bescot it is. I have no idea what they were as it was a loooooong time ago- i didn't remember any being over there. Typically for a class 31, they seem to be stationary
It was the first 323 i saw, so must be 1992ish- 20 years ago....
Mr hurricanemk1c gets to choose the next one then

Hmm - to go Irish or not?
Definatly Irish! Was trying to find a shot of a Mk2 Air-Con ex BR WR on Irish lines, but couldn't find one
So here's a different one! Very easy really

And yes, the shed is the key, along with the size of the station

Re: Guess the station!
I reckon it could be the train cleaning shed just outside Heuston station in Dublin, just an unusual view direction thats unfamiliar.

Re: Guess the station!
'S right Ben, I'm a workaholic!! How else can you explain all that route mileage and rolling stock in less than two years?
Should be a burned out wreck in another month or two.
And it is Heuston yard, here's the evidence for all to enjoy . . . .
. . . . . watch that while I ponder whether to give you another Irish pic or somewhere else.

Re: Guess the station!
You are indeed correct Graymac - Heuston it is, now full of 22000's shuttling evreywhere (and booked on the 0800/0900 Cork)

Re: Guess the station!
Right, still WELL away from the M25 car-park, this one will make you think. The clue is that this is a borderline case.

Re: Guess the station!
Well Jamie, you're a lot nearer than Hurricane was with the Holyhead. I gave you the best clue at the start, here's another clue, that train quite possibly may be going to or from Haverford West
Re: Guess the station!
You got it! There's a new Video125 featuring this, the "Welsh Marches" line, from Newport to Crewe. Recommended.
Re: Guess the station!
The clue is: It's an awesome holiday destination. Picturesque, and has a pub called the Duke of York!
