Re: Guess the station!
The cars drive on the left, therefore somewhere with British connections in the past. Not too far from Hong Kong ???
Re: Guess the station!
That's definatly Singapore, and also definatly on the SMRT network, not the SBS network.
Also it's quite out-of-town, so how's about Lakeside Station?
(and you might wonder why I know so much, I lived in Indonesia for 3 years and visited Singapore,Malayshia and Thailand quite often )

Re: Guess the station!
hurricanemk1c got it first! Your turn!
Dover remains the only station to be constructed over an existing line, it was literally constructed around the track. Trains ran straight through. As it was a later addition, its design is more modern than its counterparts on the same line.

Re: Guess the station!
Another Irish one, but at least it's one of a possible 30 stations......

Re: Guess the station!
The overhead tells me it's got the DART so it's north or south of Dublin. I don't think 29000s run to Bray, so I'm betting somewhere between Connolly and Malahide, where the wire runs out. I don't recognise it, though.
Re: Guess the station!
In fact, I do believe it IS Malahide, though the view I'm most familiar with is from the 201 cab on the Dub-Belfast video!
Re: Guess the station!
You are indeed correct Graymac, but there is a diagram for a 8x29000 to Bray (14:35 Drogheda - Bray and the 17:05 Bray - Maynooth)
My clue would have been 'There's a model railway in the castle)
Your go!

Re: Guess the station!
An easy one. I got this pic off the web, it was taken in 2006 by a chap called Fred Dean Jnr, thanks Fred!
Any similarity to Waterville is purely intentional.
Re: Guess the station!
Just a shame it's a 201 and not an 071 - windowhanging a set of Mk2's with an 071 on the front is excellent!
I know where it is, but I'll just say 'Daffy' as a helper

Re: Guess the station!
It's got a good size canopy over the platforms and it's on a fairly tight curve (see the checkrail) so it shouldn't take sherlock holmes to work it out. Obviously NOT a rural station!
Re: Guess the station!
Looking good over here guys. A little too many Irish stations and we have some sort of competition going on here now between 2 Irish guys..... Move on to Blighty stations next time!

All you gotta do is get it right and you can pick the next one
This one's SO easy, it isn't a teeny hidden away place so lets be having no excuses.
