Hell just thought It would make a difference if I put something different up, Some of you may know these Class 172 London Midlands are to Replace the not ageing class 150 Sprinters that are very reliable just need a touch of tlc then it can last so much longer just like the Cass 158's Refurbished by Arriva. Anyway enough yapping.

Hey Ben, you don't mind me editing your class 159 exterior and making a 172 out of it do you? Seen as i have manners , not at all mate.
Good cab, crap external, reason being, that's a cl 158/9 external mate, the mesh is built to shape a 159 even without textures, but good effort! And lovely cab!

No problem mate, if you feel you could pull the 172 off with the 159 mesh then crack on, but dont get you hopes up thinking it'll be cracking incase some says, oh thats a 159 etc.. try take the class 350-2 carriage .csv file, and play with the side meshes, you can get all the class 172 widths off google, and ill even throw in this picture to guide you
the different colors represent a different mesh; ie Front, side, undersection ETC.
Thats how the class 158/9 started

Re: Class 172 London Midland
The approach should have been reversed (1. ask for agreement -> 2. publish screens), but as long as it is settled, I am OK with that...
Re: Class 172 London Midland
plz can we have none of this permission stuff, after all it's just a simulator :/

Re: Class 172 London Midland
It's not a real permission, it is just being a gentleman asking another gentleman if you can borrow his work. Common sense, simple as that. But it is solved so this debate does not need to continue I guess...

@ Class318fan - That is exactly the sort of remark which demonstrates contempt or, at very least, a lack of regard for the people who have provided so much for so long. And the attitude which might possibly cause some of the providers to wonder why they bother.
Re: Class 172 London Midland
first of all i dont want toargue, second off all the 172 has the exact same buttons and dials from a 170 AGRUMENT OVER

Re: Class 172 London Midland
What part was sarcasm mate. Its advice, permission is a big thing still, it should be asked, its nice to be thought of and asked before you try pull our work as your own. Its like me saying I feel left out you dint ask me, I made a joke saying thanks for asking my permission, if thr new topic about payware items does come about then you would be breaking a civil law. Take advice dont bite back, thats my job!

Ben's not wrong, and you don't need to feel left out. If you have some talent and a desire to make stuff, and it looks to me as if you do, perhaps you might like to look at the appeal for object builders to come and help build the Leeds to London route, why not PM mrknowitall and find out? Theres a thread in the development section somewhere, too.
Re: Class 172 London Midland
hm yes I'll do that but onlky if you give me advice in the future?

Then ask for it, there is a newbie section, the most stupid question is the one you never ask.

Perhaps a 3D cab could immerse you right into the action . then again not many people have fps friendly computers

Re: Class 172 London Midland
The jury's still out on the "panel2" vs "animated" cab formats. I'm not convinced that the animated, or 3D as is sometimes called, is bad for framerates. It is much more difficult to make an animated cab that looks really authentic than it is to do a panel2 type.
Re: Class 172 London Midland
yes great idea but then again since as I am a beginner it would be hard unless the creators of the 350 3D Cab can give me some advice like how to place things, make things
