It worked yesterday. I saw the images. Sorry to say it, Dex and Nothern Line, but you're not missing anything at all.

The second link works, thank you for that. Well, it is a start, and if the rest goes up to that standard, it might become a nice route. I mean, there is no vegetation, ground... I hope that it is planned?

London Marylebone BVE Empty Marylebone - GCR

@Quork - what a ridiculous comment to make "you're not missing anything".  Here's a guy, just starting up his own new project, and he's proud to reveal his WIP.  Clearly it's nowhere near completed yet, there is still much to do.  But after he's read your comments, he's more than likely to "chuck it in the bin".  You should be ashamed of yourself for making such an insensitive observation like that, particularly when the world of BVE needs up and coming creators with new ideas.  Perhaps other members would like to comment too.

Hi John,

I'm sorry, back in my Sim3D times I've seen too many "track on green grass" postings like "This is the route Hamburg-Berlin!" created in 5min aND never to be heared from again. Considering the fact however that creating trackwork in the BVE-format isn't nearly as straightforward as in LS3D's graphic editor, those images show that the poster already has seriously dealed with the subject and done some non-banal work, which wasn't on my mind however in this late time [after night shift], which is why I put things the way I did. It surely doesn't do the visible work justice. Sure there is way more work to be done than already has been done, but nevertheless already a big deal has been done. So I'd like to say sorry for the, as I see now, rather insensitive and insensible wording. After all, he is making a route, and thus work worth appreciation. I sincerly hope though, that a person strong-willed enough to cope with BVE's non-banal coding (after all, csv structures aren't exactly something people are used to nowadays) stands above such obviously unjust comments Wink

Wilson, I look forward to seeing more of your work, and don't let all-to-thoughtless comments disturb you Wink

I can understand Quork's reaction to the appearance of a "track on green grass" posting - from past experience it's true to say it was a common occurrence, announcements made in a blaze of glory and nothing ever materialising from it. I'm probably as critical as Quork on outcomes from these kind of announcements, all the same I will be delighted to see any new work completed and offered to the community.

I don't think John was an observer on the scene in the early days of the first incarnation of BVE Terminus. (Northern Line was, he may care to comment). I recall times when there was an extra categories in the "title" hierarchy, you had administrators, moderators and members, just like here. But there was an extra category for "developers".  At one point there were a hell of a lot of them. Me included, if it comes to that. Yet, even though there were so many on the list a lot of them had barely produced anything worth the title. Even cobbling up a piss-poor re-skin gave the perpetrator the hallowed cachet of "developer", it seemed. And some of the least of those were the worst for nitpicking and squabbling and "borrowing" other peoples stuff - it created mayhem. The extra title was withdrawn as soon as it was seen that it didn't add any value to the community. Noble experiment? Probably. Successful idea? Not at all. If John was aware of that chapter it would demonstrate that Quork's comment, though a little unkind, wasn't that wide of the mark in the  reality of experience.

Anyway, never mind the past, lets hope the confidence and determination stays with this new entrant and that a finished product emerges this time. Good luck to the project.

Any plans to do a Metropolitan line as well? (at least as far as Wembly Park?)  Given that it's a question of shifting the tracks over.?

(No technical limitation on doing a Northbound Jubilee either...)

I consider this is a very good choice of route if you want to do one from a London terminus as Marylebone is one of the smaller ones so more suitable for making in Open Bve.

A few points for the maker of this and anyone else who might think of making something for bve.

Never take any notice of what negative posts are placed on a forum, often they are by people that count on your thinking that they are important by the number of posts on that forum and not actually based on if they have actually produced anything or ever could do!

But somehow they know how to make these things.....

Infact if I took notice of forum posts I would have quit many years ago!

All though I quite often get offended by them....

Everything for bve takes a lot of time and effort to produce and from what I can see on the Tumblr site all the textures used are totally new.

That does impress me!

That's more time and more effort....

Just off to do another reskin so I can call myself a developer, but hang on that's all I've released in the last few months and that must mean I am Laughing

Well said! Of course I find that developing in RWTS's editor mode can be difficult - sometimes coding makes developing easier, and sometimes the exact opposite. One big downside to RWTS is that you can't make trains that easily...

Ooooh!  Surprised It looks pretty good so far. The textures look really HQ. I would really be interested in checking it out when it's done.
