how to make a train and route as a newbie!
hello all, as you can see im new here. i am planning to make a route of the london tilbury and southend railway, and the C2C class 357s and 387s to go with it! but i need some help to get started! it would be great if you can help me!

I wrote a tutorial for creating a minimum train using TrainEditor2 and reproducing the touch panel, but I don't remember seeing any tutorials for trains.

Some years ago, I made a guide for creating objects for openBVE using the traditional coded method. Not the most perfect guide but I think it's a good starting point: https://docs.google.com/document/d/10YiyOGf4PI4PKKwXb_-BZwiY91ghxXV6zXv0bDKGlcg/edit?usp=sharing
However, nowadays, some developers are keen on using 3D modelling software such as blender. It it up to you what method you would prefer to make objects.
P.S. Objects also includes train external models and 3D cabviews.
