Very bad framerate

Hi guys,
just a quick question - I am getting really bad fps in the game itself, like 7fps, while Route Viewer gives me 60 all the time. My GPU is GeForce 3060Ti, so I suppose there shoud not be any issue with any route.
Any ideas what might be wrong?

Have you got the new (OpenGL 3) renderer turned on? For such a modern graphics card you shouldn't use the obsolete (OpenGL 1.2) one.

I was persuaded I had i t turned on, but apparently that setting got overriden when I was reinstalling the sim.

Great! But now take a look at it again, as OpenBVE 1.8.4.3 has just got released and after installing check if it resets the settings or not.
