So selling ourself addons is bad ?

I just want to ask that please answer it simply and clear

Put it this way, you’ll the one of a very select few that have “sold” items. None of them are regarded as trusted developers. Michelle was against it during her of development. And the current main developer is also against it. 


Personal view, want to make money from add ons, choose another simulator to develop for

If you want to sell addons, choose another sim, as said above.

For your content to be worthy of purchase, the quality would have to be above anything currently available freely, which, with respect, I doubt.

Bad is the wrong word.

Discouraged is perhaps better, but even that's not necessarily right either.

At the end of the day however, only you can make the decision as to what you wish to do.
Support or otherwise for your venture will be decided by the quality of your work and the community.
