Program to configure train consists

I came across a Well-known American BVE developer known as Mudwrestle and he posted this on Facebook which I think some of you might like to see. Could this be useful in the future for train with multiple consists?

Sounds good. If it actually works, maybe they'd be willing to give the code to Chris for integration into OpenBVE? Maybe it could even be expanded to allow for flexible loco hauled trains!

I already save space by using "common" files, avoiding needless duplicates of large texture and sound files. (22000, 29000 dmus particularly).
What I'd like to see would be a "consist builder" that allows a loco to be picked and teamed with a variety of available stock. It wouldn't be easy, with different car lengths, bogie type/spacing and train,dat settings. There's no consistency from one train maker to another how components are assembled so it might not work reliably for every combination.
