Train Sliding Doors
I have made some sliding doors for a class 153. Looks nice and the doors work fine, but cannot get the door open light to work. It just doesn't show up at all. Have copied everything from a working unit and still no sign of light. tried on a 158 as well that didn't work. Is there a reason for this? please.

No the problem isn't resolved. I don't think it's possible with them early trains, class's 150, 153 and 158. Although not tried with the 150 yet. I just can't understand why the light doesn't show up at all.

Re: Train Sliding Doors
The door interlock light in the cab is a function of the Panel2.cfg file and is independent of any animated door objects in the exterior files. I just tried a Cl 153 and the light in the cab worked fine. Check your cfg file:

Re: Train Sliding Doors
I have got the light to work in classes 150, 153 and 158 now, but not in the one I made with sliding doors. Not checked what you have told me too, yet, but will do. Must be something wrong in my folder, but knowing it works, means it's worth trying to sort it out. Even if it means starting from afresh. Thanks for the help anyway.

Sorry Mick, I misread the post. I had thought you was referring to the exterior part of the train in which the sliding doors come into this. I think gray's solution is the best there is so far. Out of question, what train is it exactly you're trying to get the lights working on?

Re: Train Sliding Doors
I have done it now. Don't know what was wrong first time. Made a folder, then copied everything across into it. Trying each time I added something. All done now and working. I re-textured a 153 into GWR colours, and a lot of modifications as well. Looks very nice, even if I say so myself. I modified a few pictures to get better textures as well.
