no power to electric traction
hello. on the latest stable openbve i can't get power to electric traction. has anybody else had this problem.cheers jack

openBVE doesn't do any traction simulation internally and this is all handled by plugins.
I'm not aware of anything being broken, but happy to take a look at anything that may be.

hi leezer3. it is all the electric traction i have got,open and bve4. the only way i can drive electric traction is to change the route file from 0 to 1 so the traction is already to go, so there is no startup proceedure if that makes sense. hope that helps.regards jack

I can't reproduce this with the 323, 319 or 220.

Are you remembering to release the DRA (Press SPACE) before moving off?

hi leezer3, try it with the class 309 emu or class 73 on dc. cos i dont get the power light on so i cant move and yes i do remember the space bar lol. but this does happen on all electric traction.jack

Haven't got either of those to hand-
They were both BVETMD stuff
Tried the 319 on DC mode which was the closest I'd got, and that works fine.
(If you can zip and upload them, I'm happy to host for the future, and have full permission from Martin Corbett to do so)

hi chris, can you give me your email so i can send you the files requested ie class 309. just to add to the problem getting power which is normally button 2, i cant start diesel loco's or units either, could be my end .jack
