A word of an apology to Hoverskid, I regret the unkind comment i made to the baby sulzers post, it was uncessary on my part....mobile1

Re: Midland Suburban Line Update
I notice mobile1's excellent pics aren't displayed fully. Theres a different hosting server linked to the "host image" button - it used to be image shack. This new one is messy, unco-operative and won't work for me. I found that going straight to ImageShack site and uploading the pic, copying the URL and pasting it in, using the "Insert Image" button does the trick. Above pic proves it works. Lovely period feel to that shot, nice work Alan.

Some fantastic looking shots. I'm very much looking forward to the route release.
Keep up the good work, Mobile.

Hi Alan,
Love the look of it, as it is railways as I remember them.
Bye for now,
Stephen.

Midland Suburban Line
Great stuff, Alan - couldn't agree more, those shots bring back fond memories of the 60s/70s, when trains were reliably late, dirty; porters and station masters wore waistcoats with a large tea stain down the front, station announcements were made over a "Tannoy" and were incomprehensible, carriage interiors were made out of top quality wood and for "air-con" you had to lower the window using a leather strap mechanism with holes in it.....! Were things better in those days?????? Or am I just being a sentimental old fuddy-duddy?
Great Work, Alan
Cheers,
John
