Windows 8 are basically Windows 7 optimized for Touch-screens. I don't see a valid reason for openBVE not working on it...

Not in Metro, but probably will in regular.

Windows 8 is a tablet OS. Will not install.

In the beta the dependancies would not work cause they was for the wrong OS, not sure if it will work in the full win8 system though,

You only need to install the display driver for Windows 7 then everything is alright.

I have Windows 8 Consumer Preview and it works perfectly. It should also work on the Windows 8 Release Preview

I know, but getting to the regular Windows desktop is still somehow possible... (don't ask me how, there is no such thing as W8)

Yeah, it is. The regular desktop is an app for Metro =.= Watched a video review of Win8 by Chip.de lately and I'm surer than ever to stay with XP...
