Don't think so, but I can put translation, if you want... :-D

I thought it would be nice addition to the realism. :-P

It does add realism. I like the announcements you have already, even though I can't understand the meaning - but it sounds very Slavic and gives a sense of place that would not otherwise be obvious. Like going to a different country for a holiday!

The background seems somewhat strange, perspectivewise... Other than that, great work!

The background picture was taken from an observation tower. I did not even zoom the camera but it still looks like the town in the picture is kinda too close. Strange enough... Smile

Fancy some apples? ...Anyone?  Very Happy

The best thing you could possibly try to do is adjusting two different textures to the same color tone. If you don't have anything to get angry with, this works anytime Very Happy . Do you like the result? (path / grass)

No apples for you today, the train does not stop here... and they are not ripe yet, anyway. Very Happy

That's slightly difficult - I'm on vacation, and since I usually sleep at work... Just kiddin'. Yepp I do, though I'm kind of a night person. If I don't manage to get into bed between 11pm and 1am it usually won't become before 4am or something...

I see... well, I am a night person as well, but I usually don't have any problems with going to sleep any time later than 11 p.m. I get a lot of nightshifts, though, so when there is a bit of time, I plant apple orchards and stuff like that. Very Happy

Well if I need to get to bed because I have a shift beginning at eg. 12:00, so I should sleep 2:00 till 10:00, then I also don't usually have a problem with this. However, if I do not have a fix point like this, I don't really get to bed without being tired - and if you get through the first phase of tiredom there comes a phase of several hours where you are wide awake. As a matter of fact, some four years ago I experimented around with my biological clock. I was perfectly able to reach a stable rhythm both shortened to a 15h-cycle and prolonged to a 42h-cycle - and anything inbetween, without any correlation to the sunlight rhythm... However, above a magical threshold, I think it was something short of 36h, the quotient of wake time to sleep time dropped significantly.

Hello Francois,

haven't seen you in a while! Smile  If the things continue at this rate, we shall be having a release someday this summer. Smile

On a side note - "Bardzo piekne" is in Polish I think. I am Czech, so it would be "Velmi Pěkné". Very Happy

That's right!

Though having Polish and Czech mixed up isn't that bad yet, not long ago someone asked me how good I could understand Russian and if "those two dialects" (he was referring to Polish and Russian! Evil or Very Mad) were more different than German and Austrian. Thanks heavens I was to tired to start a brawl Twisted Evil

LOL Austrian and German?  Very Happy  All I can say I have visited Tyrolia and yes, the German used there is a bit dialectial, let's say. Very Happy  I can actually understand Polish (well, not everything, but some things), since my wife comes from a place close to the Czech - Polish border. She does not speak Polish, but the Czech used in that place is influenced by the Polish language.

Yepp... But alas, some people simply do not feel language at all. The combination of linguistic and cultural insensitivity as in my story can be dangerous sometimes...

Though the best thing I ever saw was a German posting a link in a german forum to a text in Norwegian - and said he thought it is Finnish. He totally failed to see any similarity, let alone to understand a single word from the text...!

Or, we had a chinese stand at our station. I once stood behind two american tourists, who didn't understand the seller's question "Reis oder Nudeln" despite several repetitions, until he finally asked "rice or noodles". Mind that while the difference might seem big in written form, his pronounciation of both German and English was so poor that "Reis" and "rice" were identical, "nudeln" (where he missed the final N) and "noodles" (where he missed the final S) as well and "or" vs. "oder" were the only noticeable difference at all...

Sorry for bumping this, but I do have a question for Dex. Does the OS_ATS alpha plugin that Chris has been working on work for some of the trains for the route? I thought I saw something on that topic saying that it was working with some of the trains for the route.

It'll be either the pantograph not being up or the main breaker being off Wink

To be exact, your startup sequence should be as follows (Assuming default key assignments):
1. Press 4 to raise the pantograph.
2. Press 9 to turn on the main breaker.
3. Shift into forwards.
4. Wait for guard's signal & apply throttle Smile

In *theory* anyway, simply extracting the current version into any train that uses a stock version of OS_ATS should work as the train designer intended, as that was half the point of building it Razz

If you press F10 to see the debug messages, the plugin will tell you if it's overriding the driver's inputs, and the reason.

Cheers
