Strange trend...
Hi folks,
I have observed a strange trend lately... new members keep coming in, but the forums have gone a bit silent. Even the usually talkative guys Gray and Ben don't post anything. Any explanation for that?

Either they're zonked out from yesterday's partying - drinking too much Guinness! or they've taken the missus on holiday!

I'm not pi***d at all at all after Lá Fheile Padraig! I'm after doin' a bit of diggin' and I seem to be in a bit of a hole.
(I've run out of dynamite too. Must pop out and borrow some from the 'RA!!)

OK, looks like we have a variety of reasons...
So, Gray, have you been celebrating?

Latin: Patricius; Primitive Irish: *Qatrikias; Old Irish: Cothraige or Coithrige; Middle Irish: Pátraic; Irish: Pádraig; Old Welsh: Patric; Middle Welsh: Padric; Welsh: Padrig; Old English: Patric

Not to any great extent. I'm not a big fan of the booze and I don't like crowds so not really my thing.
A lot of work going on at the moment so no time for distractions, assuming anyone wants any more Irish mileage at some time.

Why have i fallen silent?
I dont know why i have gone quiet... Well I do, but i don't feel others need to know....
FYI, Do you remember me announcing and showing my HHA wagons? and then now someone's popped up with them? Just little nit picking which i don't feel i want to be apart of...
But some projects im doing have both a form of "need" to them, and one has "inspiration" involved with the train.
So firstly, although in a very "new" position, i have the M5000 tram, Which is just going through body building, which after i can build the hard time taking multi-faces
The second is both for a train exterior, and also a in route object, so this will not have "bogies" and will be in a X. file format! best of both worlds and all that!
The next is the 333, which has the most importance to it, all the bickering behind the OpenBVE scene should not be happening, nor will i be involved in it any more, hardly no one has noticed Karlneil's departure!
The 390 from another developer has also had a touch up, although i have took all normals off, i have fixed the front face and also working on the roof and trying to get the "sexy curves" added to it.
And then the HST, there will be loads of work going on but the HST always gets bits and bats added to it
Ive also figured out multi facing. Which im testing at the moment! So all the trains "images" can be set via set texture co-ordinates off just one main image. and then testing it out compared to the normal method to see if the new method can actually save on FPS.
Hope that explanation helped
Ben

@Derryck
None of that lot. It's "St Patrick's Day in English and "Lá Feile Padraig in Irish."
The Gaelic is not easy to learn and I didn't have the advantage of having it beaten in to me by the Christian Brothers as I was educated in England instead. Dunno what's worse
So at least tell us which expression you use

As you see, silence is not the same as doing nothing. Here a few platform buildings for my Finsbury Park station:
