32-bit Openbve can't be run
OpenBve-32.exe can't load routes and trains due to the "Unable to load the required plugins- Please reinstall OpenBVE" error, happens on both latest nightly builds and 1.8.1.0

Both work perfectly here (Windows 10)
I'll try the laptop later (Windows 7), but it looks to me as if something's funny at your end. No immediate ideas unfortunately,

I'm running Win 8.1 and I've had some other oddities here too. The BVE5 motor sound plugin always fails to load while being configured properly, I've askd the devs about that and they have no idea, hinting at something else again. Tho they all have Win 10 so can be something Windows version related

From my own experience - Windows 8.0 and 8.1 are both very "special".
Re: 32-bit Openbve can't be run
It's been a downward spiral since 8 honestly
Does running 64-bit vs 32-bit OpenBve.exe affect plugins in any way? I know there's a separate 32-bit .exe for plugins on 64-bit version, but there still can be something different users can't see

Re: 32-bit Openbve can't be run
It *shouldn't*.....
If the plugin is doing something ridiculously obscure, then its a possibility, as they're no longer in the same application, but after finding the initial issues as far as I'm aware it should be OK.
Best guess is that it's likely to be .Net version related somehow, but I still can't reproduce.
Only other real thought is that with shared plugins, it might not like multiple copies running at once, so I would check for open viewers etc. just in case. Should work, but it obviously isn't:(

I'll just ask what .Net version they built it for, had no viewers open when I tested it

Can't reproduce on 7 either, or on an (awful) Win 10 tablet.
Found an unrelated bug where the thing could crash unexpectedly if the GL driver reported features it didn't actually support, but that's about it.
.Net wise, it's built to target 4.6.1 (although the build workers use Mono)
