BVE TimeTable Editor
Anyone interested in a BVE Timetable editing program? I wrote this about a year ago (from a development I'd started in 2011) and though I got it pretty well debugged (though is still Beta) I never progressed it, and after failing to find a Beta tester (that is, someone was interested, "but never got back to me") events intervened such that I haven't looked at it since. It was as much a chance to mess about with C# as anything, but it was reasonably functional.
Alas, I have now gone over to the dark-side (RW/DTG/TrainSimulator) and will probably never return, and it seems a waste to have that software rotting away on my hard drive when some BVE bods might find it (or some of it) useful.
Given that BVE "routes" are basically diagrams there's not much you can change. But when I was messing around I could find variations, by changing the loco, the stopping pattern and adjusting timings to suit, and most fun of all, randomising hold signals (OK, not much fun, but it was all the fun I could find in BVE). That's all the software does, just makes it easy to do that.
Idea being: Open an existing route, do a SaveAs (call it summat else), edit traction, times, stops etc., Save, Run OpenBVE.
So, if anyone wants to take it up let me know, or if you want to look at a working executable first (on the basis this is still Beta) then again, let me know. All written in C# using SharpDevelop (for it's speed and small footprint) but I successfully ran it through Visual Studio 2019 back then, so am sure it's compatible with whatever.
If anyone wanted to take it up, I'd hope they'd plan to opensource it perhaps, once stable.
Anyway, let me know.

Re: BVE TimeTable Editor
Hello!
I would really like to try this! There are some routes I have where having different schedules would make things more interesting. I also have to figure out an easy way of switching tracks because some of it involves waiting on the local platform for a passing express train, but that's another challenge.
I'm definitely not a coder, but if you are looking for testers, I'm available (and I will get back to you for sure).

To the community:
So, I was able to do a run of this tool, and I found it to be great in its state so far. Here are my notes that I sent RJH:

I really hope that there is someone here or elsewhere that will continue this project. This will be a very useful tool for communities that are still actively developing OpenBVE content.- I tried editing a route I have that is based in South Korea, so there were of course text encoding issues when loading. It was fine after writing Korean station names in the tool.
- The Set New Start Time function has a small error when changing times. Times are listed with negative minutes and seconds.
- One idea I have is to flag for arrival and departure time errors. A departure time should always be some time after the arrival time, and the next arrival time should always be some time after the previous departure time.
- I am not sure if you are planning this one, but it would be a great addition to edit the time table in the table view. The interface that is implemented is great and should still be an option as a way to see one station stop on detail.
Also, I saw in your development notes that you are planning to implement processing of $Include commands. I have a few routes that would be great to test out, so I will be looking forward to that update.
