Questions about TrackGen
It seems a lot of people here are using TrackGen to generate tracks/switch for OpenBVE. But I am a bit confused:
1. How do you guys deal with converging track? (Where two rails are merged into one), I just can't seems to find that options.
2. Is it possible to specify the block length? The right/left track needs different block length to not create a "crack".
ObjectBender on the other hand can specify the block length and does not have this problem. (For curved track I use ObjectBender instead, but it's still a problem for switches)
3. I am quite satisfied with the texture that comes out of the box, do I have to give appropriate credit for the textures if I publish it in the future?
Any answers would be appreciated, thanks!

Re: Questions about TrackGen
It doesn't do block length unfortunately (just fixed 25m chunks of plain track), although I could probably add that without too much trouble.
If I remember, I'll look at that this week......
As a good rule of thumb, unless you're doing something majorly odd with converging tracks, dropping one branch marginally (0.01m or so) should work.
If you want a physical set of points (a 'switch') that's the first tab.
The supplied texture is by Nils Busch.
He / I would appreciate credit, but it's not the end of the world.

Re: Questions about TrackGen
But I am still confused about the first question, do I just rotate the track by 180 degree to get an converging track? Or does the program itself has an options to generate converging track?
Re: Questions about TrackGen
Correct.
You could also use MirrorAll, RotateAll or a rotation in an animated file to achieve the same effect.
