Landscape are gray and no textures
Hello everyone,
I recently installed openBVE 1.7.2.0.
I have also installed a route and a train and when I start the simulation it does not work properly.
Everything is in the correct directories, but I don't know where things are going wrong.
The train cockpit appears to be in order and I see signals and high voltage portals.
But the landscape is gray.
I see no textures.
My video card is a GeForce GT230, not a super card, but that shouldn't cause any problems, right?
Does anyone have any idea what angle to look in?
Greetings Robert

Re: Landscape are gray and no textures
Welcome on board. The GeForce GT 230 should yet be able to run the game properly. Do you have the latest driver installed in GeForce Experience? Do you use the old (OpenGL 1.2) or the new (OpenGL 3.0) renderer? Which interpolation method do you use in the game's settings? Some such old cards don't fully support anisotropic filtering and anti-aliasing at 16x level, so maybe try to change the interpolation to trilinear or if it still isn't enough, to nearest neighbor. Hope it helps.

Hello Gothpaladinus,
I got it running.
I had a route that didn't work.
The Birmingham route will work.
For some routes, despite placing them in the correct directories, I get the message "The sslected route is corrupt", "No objects defined".
Am I doing something wrong, or is the selected route not suitable for public transport?
Regards Robert

That sounds like one of two things:
1. You're missing something from the download. (Probably the objects)
2. You haven't actually managed to get the directory structure quite right.
Can you share a couple of screenshots as to how you're putting the files?
