Good Quality Track?
Hi Guys,
Been coding a route for past 2 weeks and got 4 stations so far (Fictional route) but my tracks are the default ones used in the tutorial which are quite bad quality and unrealistic, Wondering how could I get better quality track/Track stones ? as the tutorial never covered how to create high quality track/Better quality stones.
Thank you

You have a PM
I've found the TrackGen program to be effective. The appearance of your trackwork is mostly dependent on the textures you use.

Hi, sorry for bumping up an old topic, but could I get a decent switch and junction using some program? I was trying to code it by hand - it is doable, but it is extremely tedious and time-consuming.

Probably does what you're after.
It doesn't do crossings / slips, but everything else.

Re: Good Quality Track?
I certainly found it indispensible - especially with all my 1.6m track!

Switch by Rüdiger Hülsmann is here too - command line tool, doesn't work on Win 10 or any 64bit system as far as I know. It certainly works on Win 7 32 bit. Virtual machine is how I use it.

By the way, as this command line tool is a DOS program, one do not essentially need a Win7 VM for it to run. DOSBox is another choice - more lightweight (only 1.5MB) and runs way faster!Phonteus Nevolius wrote:Switch by Rüdiger Hülsmann is here too - command line tool, doesn't work on Win 10 or any 64bit system as far as I know.
