OpenBVE on Mac
Just a quick question, if anyone can help...
Getting fed up with Windows and I'm considering moving to the darkside, buying a MacBook, does OpenBVE work on a Mac? Have any of you done it, is it easy to install?

Re: OpenBVE on Mac
Only just noticed this thread, but there we go
My builds supply a Mac DMG/ application by default; Just install this like any other Mac application. It should then prompt you to download Mono if this is missing, and that's all it needs.
This should work perfectly for all routes. (Let me know if not......)
The 'issue' is with trains. Any train using a Windows-only plugin will not function 100% as designed. In most cases, trains will be driveable, but some cab features (e.g. Windscreen wipers, animations) may not function.
Additionally, safety systems such as TPWS & AWS will not function.
IIRC, the following trains will function correctly (Or at least reasonably well), as they're using cross-platform plugins:
Most of Dexter's recent stuff.
The 81xx, Manor and Western from BVE Cornwall.
The Chasanai Railway default trains.
Anthony B. supplies UKTrainsys instructions for some UK stock, but this isn't perfect.

Re: OpenBVE on Mac
Would the Celtictrainsim Irish stock be fully functional on Mac? I assume they should because allare equipped with BVEC_ATC plugin? (I haven't had a Mac myself since the Intel ones were introduced so know little about them these days).
