Something completely just for fun
Beijing Subway Line 5 stock, known as extended B stock, because of specifications, nothing to do with its appearance or fittings or whatever.
Probably won't release it as a proper train in the near future, but just something from another part of the world, Beijing that is... I am currently also making Yizhuang Line train, Line 8,9,10 train, because they all look more or less the same. If anybody is interested in continuing this, I'm more than happy to hand over some data.

It does not contain cab and stuff, not even seats and fittings, not even wheels and air con on the roof. it's just 6 boxes stuck together at the moment. However, the doors are operational. If you want, just make these passing trains for whatever routes you want.

There are only 2 at the front, “北”and "京“, which unsurprisingly means Beijing... There is nothing to suggest the line, but the colour corresponds to a particular line. In this case, it's Line 8. Here's a better photo

It HAS to be said, it looks unusual, at very least.[i]
Though NOT as unusual (or daft) as this:

that's more like a tri-rail, that's cheating!!!
Re: Something completely just for fun
I thought you would have a good laugh at it, it's really quite ridiculous!!!!
It lasted a bit over 30 years. In all fairness, in those days 15mph was quite a respectable speed to travel. A bit like the M25

Re: Something completely just for fun
I might release Line 8 as the Olympic Branch Line one day, a short 4 stations line, along with the original stock, borrowed from Line 10. Shouldn't be too hard. See how well it goes in the community. Meanwhile, I don't have a lot of time doing codings, if anybody has queries about beijing subway trains, then Jeff Wong is the contact point at the moment.
