Hi all, just a few pics of the now progressing Midland main line, hopefully things will get easier after Cricklewood, still more to do around the train shed..

Hi mobile1,

very nice! It is well recognisable, good work! This obviously is pre-eurostar era, so no contemporary route. What time period are you modeling?

Wow !

Now that IS impressive, I can almost smell the fumes !!

I'd better get off my backside and sort out a driveable 45 asap !

Or how about a class 127 hydraulic DMU ? all stations to Bedford....

Have you modelled that rancid kebab shop that used to be just round the corner outside too ? spent a few bob in there over the years late at night when nowhere else was open back in the 80s.... happy days they were !!

Keep up the good work Mr H.

now you've given me a problem, well , when i think about it, not really..i could start the 45 and class127 from platform 2.. or i could realine everything and start them from platform 5....i reckon it will take about 12 to 18 months to complete as far as Bedford or maybe up the bank to Wellingborough, what do you think is that time enough for the 45 and 127, and any other surprises that might come along...
now can i reverse the cricklewood to kentish town code??..
i did work a few class 8 freights out of wellingborough yard , only at the back end mind you...

Well, these things can and do take time, so no need for any rushing Alan. I could possibly have a 45 ready very quickly indeed mind, though a 127 will require a new set of photos and sounds and a bit more head scratching. No problem though... I happen to know a certain class 127 and caring group rather well......my 104 and 108 were made courtesy of these guys so I reckon a quick email needs to be sent sometime in the not too distant future.....

Amazing work! It's a pity BVE doesn't allow you to easily couple/uncouple locos for added shunting fun - but you get the idea from this! When I tried to put together a fictional HS2 I developed the line from St.Pancras to Leicester - the difference is that my version is merely a platform! TBH though, high speed running is boring really - I think you can have much more fun shunting around on older stock.

kwijiboenator,   did you produce any of the St Pancras to Leicester route ?.. i never saw it on the forums, if you did, perhaps i could utilise it in my route, it would certainly save me time..regards

There wasn't really much detail - but the conceptual HS2 route we created left from St.Pancras, and ran all the way to Leicester. There wasn't much detail to it though - a few buildings and trees and tunnels - otherwise it was track in the various positions. I was working on it with NorthernLine - the main thread detailing what we had is here: https://bveworldwide.forumotion.com/t60-high-speed-2-development?highlight=high+speed+2

I understand NorthernLine is developing it? He asked if he could continue working on it as I don't have the time any more, so if you ask him, perhaps you could both collaborate on it?
