[NOT SURE WHERE TO POST THIS] HmmSim addon problems...
Hello friendly people of BVE Worldwide,
I was wondering how to add addons to the android and IOS simulator, HmmSim. It's basically BVE on amazing graphics. I know where to move the .zip files to (/var/mobile/Applications/HmmSim/Documents) but what I don't know is how to present it. In other words the file structure. I have searched google, and on jeminie.net when I click on 'Add-On' it just refreshes the page. Because I tired the picadilly line, all of the .csv files in route, all objects and files present, it's just that when I run the route, I get 'Unhandled Exception' and the app crashes. Any help? Thanks Attached is the files structure of the actual ZIP I ported to the iPad. >NOTE: I DIDN'T MAKE ANY OF THE ROUTES ATTACHED!<

Having same problem, on iPad you can't even get into the file system without jailbreak.

I was able to access the file system on mine, since mine is jailbroken. I looked and the folder structure is exactly the same as bve. You got your railway and train folders, and inside the railway folder, you got your object, route, and sound folders respectively. I attempted to add a route to it but it caused the app to crash as well. I think the dev will probably post something on the site showing how to import addons soon.

Hi Guys,
the reason why you can't add any BVE routes at the moment is because its on version 1.0.9 which at present there is not a feature of adding routes at the moment.

That is incorrect. I have the update, clearly in the menu it states 'You can add BVE-Addons now. See jeminie.net for more info.'JLE Creator (old) wrote:Hi Guys,

Ok Thanks for re-assuring me . But my device is not jailbroken. I use iExplorer for windows, and can get into the filesystem easily. And he has posted: jeminie.net. But one problem: If you click 'Addon' then the page refreshes.buckysam wrote:I was able to access the file system on mine, since mine is jailbroken. Reading the Android release notes suggests that BVE route support is currently broken.
I'd guess it's probably the same for IOS.

Seems a little bit silly to put a notice in the app saying you can now add bve addons then...!
I think we need to try and get some input from the developer.

Tried iExplorer and couldn't even find Train/Railway folders.

On iOS, under the Hmmsim folder in /var/mobile/Applications, it's in Hmmsim.app/Data/Vision/Samples/Engine/Hmmsim/routes and in there are the railway and train folders. Don't know where it is for android.

Had contact with the developer who says the feature is not yet finished.
