HmmSim
I've just found out that a Korea app developer has recently published a cap-view train simulator "Hmmsim".
Tha app is based on Korean and English, and Seoul Subway Line 2 is included.
You can check out the stunning screenshots at the developer's blog.
http://ddc01137.blog.me/206984902
Moreover, "Hmmsim Pro" will be published soon in a week.
And it is compatible with Bve-routes!
I think, through the app, we can open existing bve-routes.
Wait and enjoy!
p.s the developer said IOS version will be also available on April.

Oh my oh my Looks promising. Promising indeed. I have the fear though, that this will give the final lethal blow to the social capabilities (flirting etc.) of many already endangered railfans (also called ferrosexuals in Germany)

Re: HmmSim
Hmmsim is now available for free in the Google Play Store. I've given it a run and its superbly detailed. You'd have to get the pro version to play bve routes on which is yet to be put on the store... with a price
I have two things concerning bve routes, what version would it run and would all the required dependencies such as plugins work with the sim

Re: HmmSim
Hmmmmsim?! I wonder what the creator was thinking when he created it.
Hmmmm what should I call the sim?

Oh my gosh! I've never seen anything like this, and on a mobile platform to boot! Just look at those gorgeous shadows! And that lighting! This is amazing! Railworks needs to kiss this guys a**! It doesn't even come close to this! When this comes out for iOS, I'm defiantly buying it!

I believe this will be available for iOS soon. It has already been tested on the iPad Mini.
Here's a preview of the Jubilee Line for HmmSim, The dimensions of the cab height are quite high, do remember this is in testing stages so I wouldn't recommend judging the guy just yet:

Since we know what the sim is, I will change the title of this Topic to the relevant subject.

Movingmillion wrote:Finally. BVE in some form for iOS. I hope it's compatible with 5.1.1.
I dont think it's openbve, is it?
Nah it's not openbve but it will be compatible to run most bve routes on. Versions of bve are not important here, remeber that Hmmsim is its own simulator with bve in mind. Ok not every single bve route will run on it, but mainly the ones with basic objects.
I've heard that running routes with lots of detail in will lag in Hmmsim potentially causing crashes to the sim. So i've spoken to the developer and he will be making a list of compatible bve routes which will be able to run on the simulator

Re: HmmSim
It will also depend what device you have. For example my iPad Air will be able to run routes with far more detail than my iPhone 5.

Re: HmmSim

Re: HmmSim
For some devices (like mine) you will need to go to Settings and disable the Gyrosensor (optional) and mandatory MipMap Texture (Recommended).

Re: HmmSim
Finally, you can add BVE Add-ons.
For more details, please refer to Add-on Menu in http://www.jeminie.net
And Hmmsim has been released in Apple App Store!

Re: HmmSim
A great App! Finally you can run BVE4-routes again!
But: Has someone successfully converted X-City from railsimroutes?
On some sites you can download routes directly for HmmSim, look here:

Re: HmmSim
The sim is great!
I haven't previously seen Hmmsim packages on any website, I usually do my own convertion to have the ability to fix something if something goes wrong.
Here's the list of routes I've tried in Hmmsim:
BMT 1950 (old-style NY subway line) - works without visible problems, no errors at startup.
LU Bakerloo line - bugs with tunnels-walls are missing.
LU Piccadilly line - same problem as Bakerloo.
Budapest Metro (lines M2 and M3) - a couple of minor bugs.
LU Central line (Western part) - works without visible problems.
LU Victoria line - crashes sim at startup.
LU Jubilee line - some station objects are missing.
Tokyo Metro Hanzomon line - a couple of objects missing.

Re: HmmSim
Well good news, Hmmsim 2 is released and looking much better than the first version. This version is currently out on the app store and due on androids very soon. The only criticism I can give here is that you have to pay for it. But it's well worth the payment anyway.

Re: HmmSim
I will happily pay for it if the income helps to further develop the sim (instead of leaving it half made).
