Brilliant work and stunning detail. But doesn't it make you angry (it does me) when all you get on feedback responses is something like this:
I read the description. I still want the download link.
Everybody wants something for nothing these days. It's all want, want, want, and do nothing for it. I think it's high time we started charging for this stuff. Controversial, I know, but I'd be interested in your responses.
Keep up the excellent work, lads.
Cheers,
John

I think a new thread could be about to start on this. John's observation rings true in my opinion, massive appetite for "want" is a symptom of our society which is unattractive in the extreme. Well stated, John.
The views in the videos are extremely encouraging. It's a shame the lighting has a minor problem, and it isn't the builders fault. Notice when the train is in the brightly lit station that the exterior of the cars is in shadow even though the station lights are bright. I wonder if the right combination of Track, Brightness and/or day/night texture = emissive color might correct this?
Re: 1992 stock update and a route to go with it ;)
As I said a few pages back, this is because of the lack of brightness commands at the time being. However seeing as it's still a wip and not a finished article I haven't put them in yet. Rest assured the train will not look dark like that when it's finished
k.

That's fine, there's nothing else to kvetch about, it's high quality work.

That looks brilliant!
What resolution are the textures? With modern graphics cards/screens I love going to town on the resolutions, like was done on the original BVE4 JLE, unfortunate that at the time it was ahead of it's time and had to be downsized due to not running on everyones computer.

Re: 1992 stock update and a route to go with it ;)
The resolutions vary. I was one of the original authors of the bve 4 JLE, but yes you are correct it was ahead of it's time and had too much code and superior textures. I am taking advantage of openbve's graphical capabilities and making my stations look the best they can.
The sound in Open has been greatly improved as well, the 1992 stock motor is actually made up of the real motor samples and loops flawlessly, which is something I am proud of. But it would be nice if Open advances to the point where you could create the piston effect of a train approaching; whilst the camera is on the platform.
Although it isn't in place yet it will also have working ATP with manual and auto, as well as the block and standard signals were necessary. I haven't got a video of it at the moment but the platform screens are working and even flash *stand back train approaching*

Yes when it's finished. Hopefully the first release will be done by sometime this year ideally the middle of the year. but i'm not promising anything.
The first release will be Ealing Broadway to Liverpool Street.

If the train is finished can you but a download link for that. Also would the route and train work for mac because some of the OpenBve routes and trains don't work on mac ?

Firstly since when have I said anything is finished? Secondly I will put a download link when I feel like it, which won't be until it's finished.
Re: 1992 stock update and a route to go with it ;)

Just seen your ATP video, wow just wow! That is better than world of subways! I would buy that if it was in a shop! Your have 100% made the most realistic LU Route ever! It's made all the other routes look nothing haha! Is it still on track to be released in the middle of the year? Is there much work to still be done? I can't actually wait for it! I'm gonna be driving it all day and all night!!!!

Nothing? To be fair the Northern line and the Jubilee line showed a lot of people that if you put the effort in it's amazing what can be accomplished in bve underground routes. We have just taken it a bit further.
Ideally yes I want to to release it in the middle of the year, but if it isn't it's because it isn't finished and i'm sure the majority don't want an unfinished route.
