Transparency issues
Greetings.
I have been working on an animated river that has 2 layers of transparent water textures.
The issue is that, at certain camera angles, the textures tend to clip through each other.
Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/5dB6QHhSqgQ
I don't know if this is an engine limitation or a glitch.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Transparency issues
Are there both "Face 0, 1, 2, 3" and "Face 3, 2, 1, 0" lines added to the set of vertex meshes? And do the textures have internal alpha channels applied (if they use PNG format)?
Re: Transparency issues
No and yes. Face is only visible from one side and the textures are PNG with alpha channels.
Re: Transparency issues
It's an engine limitation I'm afraid.
We use a relatively simplistic single pass implementation of the Painters algorithm, as opposed to any multi-pass rendering.
This is unlikely to change at present.
