Door animation

hi i have downloaded a 1938 stock with an exterior but it has static doors i was hoping someone couldd animate them i am realy bad a codding so i hope someone can do it for me, i would send the train via email.

As the developer of said 1938 stock model, animation was something I was looking into doing, I just need to learn how to first...

As someone who has used BVE since the early days, to me, it's still very much mainly an in cab simulator...

i didint know you where the developer sorry if i tried to modify your train with out permision by asking someone to animate the doors ive tried looking arroud and i didint find any tutorials on animating doors if you kknow someone that can help i would be grateful

I have no issue with it being modified, by yourself or anyone else.  

I'll do some research into animation but I'm not promising anything, I don't think I've really moved with the times when it comes to BVE development.

Great stuff. Maybe for the door animations don't make them fully go into the sides, keep a little bit of the doors sticking out

Yeah good idea, I've just done this and it looks much nicer.
