Brake increase/decrease keys not working at all

I've tried literally everything from uninstalling to reassigning keys and yet every single key except the brake increase/decrease and those keys on ym keyboard (comma and period) are working fine normally on my keyboard.

There is a lack of information.
First, what is the OS and OpenBVE version you are using?
Next, make sure that the controls are assigned to the keys you want, using a virtual keyboard or something like that.

I am running the newest version and I'm using Microsoft not sure what you meant by a virtual keyborad.

OS version is not enough for "Microsoft".
Perhaps you are using Windows, what version of Windows?
