Re: Isle of Wight
Looking forward to the next release of this route especially after seeing the screenshots of Ryde St Johns Road as it look amazing and very close to real life which I think is really good. I do enjoy driving the current version but the only thing I think the current version is missing is gradients and I was wondering of they may be included in the updated version of the route? Personally I find gradients on routes make the route just that bit more interesting to drive as it makes the driving of the route slightly more challenging. I also know that the route does have some fairly steep gradients in it in real life.

This is something I do plan to add, the issue is apart form the obvious gradients around Ryde, the rest of the route will be guesswork at best.

If the reason why most of the gradients would be guess work is because you don't know what the gradients are then I recommend this website (this is the link for the Island Line)
http://www.railwaydata.co.uk/linefiles/route/?ELR=IOW
It provides all the mileages for the locations of all the changes in gradient and the respective gradient at the locations.
I hope this is useful

That'll be very useful, thanks!

Having seen Paul Lucas's recent video of the line, this looks just like the real thing.

I've seen that video, it's a good watch.
I was hoping to get over to the IoW last year before the 38 stock was withdrawn but unfortunately didn't get chance.
Esplanade and the pier are turning out to be the most time consuming part of the route, I usually put in an hour every couple of days but I don't seem to be making much progress at all.
