Swinging ! Empty Swinging !

Plenty of animated doors are appearing. They all seem to be the sliding type. So, here's a possible first, a set of opening doors for the old Mk2 stock, which swing open on their hinges instead.
That'll give Derryck something else to catch up with Very Happy Very Happy

I know how to do that, Gray... have you noticed the rotating footstep on my 814DMU? Similar principle, different axis. Razz Smile Smile Of course, your condition for opening the door might differ from mine, but still, I think I could do that. Cool Anyway, was it you to whom I promised to explain the crossing event?

That's right, Derryck. I had made my crossing with an expression that caused the closing distance to equal the opening distance, which is not correct in practise. Because I have no training in programming in C#, or much knowledge of boolean expressions I was unable to write an expression to allow true for " both car 0 is < distance before and car -1 is < distance after" which the program would accept. I suspect faulty syntax was the main culprit. Anyway, I would be interested to see what expression you formulated.

I believe if there was enough examples of commonly used functions to look at it would be relatively easy to apply them to a wide range of useful animations to improve the realism of the routes.
