BWR-2012 news update
Update on the BWR-2012 release. The new routes are intended to be available by the end of this month, at least that's what I'm working towards. It's been necessary to give the website a total facelift first. The new look website will feature photo albums of the routes and more information than before. Including the first officially sanctioned Ballyfeckin video, shown here for BVEWorldwide members to see first.
The six minute vid shows the 201 locomotive on the first leg of the new Waterville to Newbridge line. This clip finishes after Knockmore, which is almost a quarter of the way to Newbridge. So lots more to come!

It won't be long Tony. The route has been ready a while but the website has to be updated to release it. It's nearly done now! The old downloads are discontinued and the website is under engineering occupation from today.
Re: BWR-2012 news update
do you know when you are going to release it.

Thanks, @bushey! Not long now, the new website is almost ready, great care being taken not to do a pie in ear on it
Re: BWR-2012 news update
It looks good for sure! Good to see the 201 again - Ireland's fastest and heaviest locos!

Trying the route right now as I'm typing, and it's just brilliant! Also I commend your creativity of using a luggage bag as a stop marker at Ballinamo and Killavalley (so far). Hats off to you for that!
Edit: Lol I overran Kilgarvan.

Re: BWR-2012 news update
Well spotted. About two years ago when the first Irish routes were released some UK users asked where the car stop signs were. The truth is, we don't seem to have ever had them over here.
Once the routes were properly learned the player would get to know the stop point, all the same a bit of help wouldn't harm So rather than add something which is not authentic I hit on the idea of a "secret" marker, and the luggage fitted the bill.
You may even recognise some of the passengers at some point in time

....However, bear in mind, that as Graymac is such a decent and honest fellow, he may just have hidden "that suitcase" amongst a group of passengers...! All adds to the fun.....!

Re: BWR-2012 news update
MOST of the time the suitcase is there to help you. The main exception is where you are driving a loco hauled train, in which case the correct stopping position is generally with the loco overhanging the platform end.
Like the real driver, you will all get to know it with practice. The hardest part is deciding which route to choose out of the 26 diagrams available.

As the title of the post says. I have tried several links to no avail. Google Chrome just displays a pop up saying that it cannot access the site. This applies to the old site aswell. Help please.
Thanks

Well, everyone else here has had no difficulty.
Try clearing your browser cache, in case the browser is forcing you to a redundant bookmark.
(lots of folks bookmarked the old frontpage of the previous site to avoid the 'enter' screen, the frontpage is no more)
The site url itself is NOT changed.
Try this links, perhaps:

Re: BWR-2012 news update
Didn't work for me either, until I corrected the typo that I had made- doh...
Then it was fine.

Re: BWR-2012 news update
I have already done all that and it hasn't made any difference. Google still says it cannot access the site. It looks as if I won't be using BWR until an answer is found but I will plod on with the pre BWR package.

Re: BWR-2012 news update
I'm accessing it perfectly well, using either Firefox, Safari, IE9 or Chrome on desktop, laptop and Mac.
Google search still lists an outdated link to: www.celtictrainsim.com/ballyfeckinwater.html - the page ballyfeckinwater.html does not exist.
However, the oldest site redirects to celtictrainsim.com:
http://www.iwrsim.graymacimage.com/
And the link I put above yesterday works.
And egg above confessed to making a boo-boo typing it wrong, but got it right once he found what he done.
So what have you ****ed up?

Re: BWR-2012 news update
Just to say great work on the extension Graymac.
It really is fantastic with the lovely new locations and buildings en-route, loving the stretch along the coast.
This is now a serious rival to NWM as the best network of routes for Open BVE, and if you keep developing like you have I think you may just pinch that crown
Are there any future plans for BWR, I would imagine you are taking a well earned rest for just now.
Cheers Michael

Re: BWR-2012 news update
Thanks Mikey! I will be having a bit of a rest. I think I've earned it LOL
If I can deal with the last point first. Although it is technically possible to extend the BWR network further I probably won't be doing so.
However IF the line past Newbridge was extended it would be likely to be "more of the same" and I'm not sure if thats a great idea. Another possible candidate for extension might be the Killavally Branch.
As for the "Crown"! Well, you know in the Republic of Ireland we're not crazy on kings and queens, except when we go on about the ancient ones of myth and legend. And NWM's King Tony has been very helpful, he's a great guy. Without his help there wouldn't be the passing trains and animated traffic. Indeed, when I started out the NWM was a massive influence on me, and still is. And both of us will be continuing to produce work in future, so every user wins!
So I'm delighted when my stuff is compared with NWM, but we're not in competition. You might be surprised how many of the route builders do consult one another from time to time.

Re: BWR-2012 news update
Hi Graymac,
Great routes! Thanks for making them for us; I just wanted to ask why I have on the BWR 2012 some greyish, white signals. Some of the signals are still fine but some seem to have an object error?

Re: BWR-2012 news update
Can't begin to guess at that unless I know which route you are using and the location of the errant signal (a screenshot is helpful). Given the info I will investigate it.
And perhaps if anybody else has noticed this they might mention it too.

Errant signal
Waterville-Knockmore 7B certainly shows the errant signal(s) clearly at the start of the route. I don't think a screenshot is required as its in your face. Open BVE Version 1.4.0.10.
BWR-2012 is quite an achievement btw many congrats.

Re: BWR-2012 news update
This is what I'm seeing at the start. There are no signal problems visible here.
Using OpenBVE 1.4.12 here. There was an issue with OpenBVE 1.4.2 earlier, though not signal related. It won't apply to your version. For those who have got OpenBVE 1.4.2 see here:
