I think this limit was removed in the latest versions, which version are you using?

Verticies above this index are (technically) supported in .X and .OBJ files, but not in CSV / B3D files.
Whilst you could export to one of those, I'd strongly advise against it.
This only works at all with GL3, and even there 65,000 vertices are going to kill render performance.
