Thanks ap1991. Is there a web address for the Wayback Machine or do I just put it into the browser?

Hi ap1991.
I found the Wayback Machine web site but it didn't recognise the address I put in for bve4 trains so I am back to square one
Thanks for trying.

Thank you for your reply but as you can see from above the site wasn't recognised unless you know the web address I need.

Re: Steve Thomas's Bve4 Trains Site
Hi again
I put the address given to me,thank you, and it took me to some links to captures. I looked at a lot of the captures and they all sent me to Steves Home Page. The only problem is that is all it was. There were no links to the downloads for the trains etc like on his original site.
Anyone got any more ideas please?

Have you clicked the link I posted in my previous post?
Bve4Trains (archive.org) <--- Click this (Sorry, I've tried posting it as a URL link but the forum keeps formatting it as a direct hyperlink.)
It's loading without issue for me, scroll down the page and the links to the downloads are on the left in yellow.

No problem, happy to help.
In regards to the break alarm, what train are you using?

Brake Command Alarm.
This only happens when I use th AI driver. As the AI is by no means perfect some of the trains being driven do not slow down quick enough to not over run the critical lower speed marker and so the Brake Command Alarm activates to bring the train to a halt.
Normal and rail work markers are ok.
I just seem to recall that there is a button to press on the key board to cancel the alarm for the ones that don't reset the Brake Command Alarm automatically but can't remember which one it is.
It dosen't matter if there is no such button because I can override the AI when approaching one as I know where the critical speed controls are on most of the routes!!!!

Re: Steve Thomas's Bve4 Trains Site
Did you try the Insert and/or Delete buttons on your keyboard when the alarm yells in?

Thank you for the reply. I have tried both to reset alarms to no avail.
Normally when the Brake Command activates,as you know, the red light flashes and after a preset time turns to solid red and then resets when Insert is pressed, the brakes release and the train can start In manual or AI.
In most cases it works but in some pressing the Insert and/or the Delete the alarm remains solid red and so cannot be reset. Session over.
That is why ,as in previous posts, I have asked if there is a button to press to reset it. Do you know of one?
Thanks

Re: Steve Thomas's Bve4 Trains Site
Did you also try putting the reverser to X (0) then back to forward/backward? Sometimes I needed it too just after pressing Insert/Delete. Some trains with such train plugins also need the press of the Space bar to turn that brake locker off or whatever it's called...
Re: Steve Thomas's Bve4 Trains Site
I will try your sugestions when I get the Sim working again. That is what I am doing at the moment.
