BVE TMD Downloads
Hi all,
Am trying to locate the downloads from the BVE TMD website. I have tried Wayback Machine, and while the website loads and you can view it normally, none of the downloads work. Does anyone know where I can get hold of all the locos from there? Or would anyone be kind enough to unload to Dropbox or something to allow download??
Thanks in advance.

No. Unfortunately the developer left ages ago. I think it was 2013 when he stopped and now all downloads have stopped working. Not even our trusty wayback machine can revive them

The BVE TMD site has been out of action for about a year at this point in time. I've attempted to contact the developer, Martin Corbett, since it went off-line, with no success so far.
Re: BVE TMD Downloads
The last words I had from Martin was that he is now using Train Simulator found it now quite realistic and he was thinking about giving up developing for Open Bve as he enjoyed using TS.
So when I found out the site had shutdown a few months later I was surprised as I thought he might have given me the option to add them to a new site on Bve4Trains before he did.

Re: BVE TMD Downloads
I'm saddened if it's the case that he hasn't thought of arranging to have his excellent legacy work hosted "for posterity" - even if he had made the decision to cease BVE work and move elsewhere. There was a significant and important body of work on that site of his. There could be several legitimate sites that would be only too happy to continue providing the downloads for the future.

Re: BVE TMD Downloads
Hi Chris,
Thanks for the message here, for the record I've never had any real problem with my stuff being hosted elsewhere as such, providing that all my work is credited accordingly still and all original credits/headers are left intact.
Whether you decide to host the files yourself or via Steve Thomas matters not, both of you or anybody else for that matter please feel free to host the files as you see fit.
I have progressed onto Train Simulator development purely for my own use nowadays, I find it now has the edge over BVE in some areas, while in others admittedly it still lags behind somewhat. Whether or not I return to BVE in the future remains to be seen, life is rather busy for me nowadays working on the real railway so my time is at a premium somewhat, but who knows what the future may hold...? never say never...
Cheers,
Martin C ( BVETMD)
P.S. feel free to copy my reply to you on any forum etc if you wish, I realise some folk have possibly been wondering what happened to me etc, I can always be contacted here if necessary.
Been in contact with Martin via Flickr (His stuff here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/158820378@N06/ ), and have the above reply.
I'm happy to host if we want, but there are also offers from Steve and Graymac. Not sure off the top of my head quite how much I've got specifically saved (and un-modified!), but we should be able to pull together a full set without much trouble.
As a secondary point, when re-uploading the 1st-gen DMUs, it'd be nice to replace OS_ATS with BVEC_ATS.
This will give them full functionality under Linux / Mac, with absolutely no drawbacks.
