Hi can any one help please have downloaded new version of openBVE but now keyboard will not work .

cant see any apply button, its stable version 1.5.3.9 wish l hadn't touch it now !

im not that clever on here it was set to joystick l un ticked that what is keyboard grab.

reinstalled still no good when l click on keyboard in settings it just goes back to nothing.

I would need to check (tomorrow) , but I think that re-installing should keep the existing settings.

That would certainly seem logical to me anyway; The only time I'd expect settigs to be cleared would be if specifically asked to in the uninstaller.

Have tou tried the 'Reset to Defaults' button in the controls dialog?

Either way, I'll take a closer look / instructions tomorrow PM if no-one gets there first Smile

Looking at that screenshot, it shows all controls set to default & as expected.

First, let's try something dead-simple and non-train related:
Please launch a game, and press the ESC key- Does the menu popup?

its working now but have to enable keyboard every time in customise controller, then press enable keyboard grab and enter a letter where it says key assignment ,then worked but have to reset same again after game, what do modifiers mean.

it just wont remember the key board never had this problem before
