A new German OpenBVE Site WIP
Hello Guys,
I am working with some friends on an German OpenBVE Site.
At first It will be just an Archive with routes.
But we are planning for the future some Video Tutorials, some Know How for Content Creators, a News-Site and so on. But at the Moment there is only the Route Archive.
My Question is, if it is ok, if we add some routes from other websites, with our own Descriptions, Data, and Pictures. Of Course the Source of the Route is Linked. And the Author is denoted too.
The Download Button links directly to the Download Link of the original Host. So we just offer the Download Link, and we don't host some content of other creators on our Servers.
Is that ok?
There is an Example:
The site isn't announced yet.
Have a nice Day

That'd be deeplinking, which many sites don't like. I'd suggest asking the site owners, whether they're okay with it, or whether you have to link their main page.

Re: A new German OpenBVE Site WIP
The earliest downloaded programmes I have for BVE2 and BVE4 are dated:
Bve 2.6.3 27.3.2005
BVE 4.2.1947.25355 22.5. 2005
I thought it was much earlier than that as I think this was when I downloaded the ZIP files as protection against losing the programmes due to computer crashes.
The programmes doesn't work on Windows 10 but I still have them on an old Lap Top with Windows XP that I occasionally run.
Just checked a file for a Class 37 train and that is shown as 5th March 2003. These files are for BV4 and I used BV2 a good while before BV4.
