The musicianship was better than a lot of the crappo you get today, and the totty could sing, which is more than you can say for the bimbos on videos these days who just flash their tits and wiggle their asses and call it talent.

I did laugh the other week, when the bimbo was shooting a vid in a field somewhere in N.Ireland and the farmer came up and told her to put some clothes on. Very puritanical, those (probably Presbyterian) Ulster farmers.

Vanessa, brilliantly talented. Looks very attractive too but that's not the point.
Jackson Brown is an astounding songwriter and a pretty decent guy too. Tom Petty would be worth a mention as well. Some really OK yanks do exist, they're not all assholes like Bush, Cheney, Romney and Bachman. Trouble is, it's the assholes who're runnin' the show right now.

I was lucky enough to see Ian Anderson performing live last summer (summer????) here in Ireland and I tell you, man that guy still ROCKS. Brilliant stuff.

Terrific band. Well made video too. There was an album by our Christy Moore called burning times. The title track was about the old goddesses and witchcraft and tells a story. Intolerance (particularly religious intolerance) is nothing new.
