I must be dreaming...
Hi folks,
today me and my fiancée have decided to go for an afternoon's trip and enjoy some horse-riding. So I found a suitable railway connection to a nearby village, where the stables are situated. The ordinary personal train took us to the station approximately 20 km from my home city Brno.
When I got out of the train, I could not believe my own eyes. The route has been reconstructed some time ago and I was originally thinking I could find something worthy a photo for my route (for texture creating), but what I could see was a picture of doom; smashed glass, graffiti everywhere, torn schedules, loads of rubbish and even a serious sh*t in the subway. I was so disgusted I just put my camera back into the backpack and went away.
My question is - do you also experience something like this, or is it just Czech country specific? It was a sad picture, really, and I guess I just have to stick to my utopia, which is FBT, where the environment is relatively clean...

That sounds awful. I don't know whether this example is typical in the CR, but it is a bad state of affairs.
You must clamp down on the vandals in FBT before it spreads. It starts with graffiti, and before you know it there is widespread destruction and disregard for public property.
I don't think the communists would have allowed it.

Re: I must be dreaming...
That's happening even in Germany, it depends on where you get... But here, the state learned you have to react quick and so those hot-spots of vandalism flame up for maybe a year or so and then decease. But it's a neverending story, one place is settled, two new pop up...

Sounds very much like the British Railways... Graffiti especially... But yeah, some people, with no care in the world, do have to ruin things for everyone else!! Actually why call them people, they're just down right SCUM!
