That wall tiling looks immaculate. I do like the tiling, it brings along the uniqueness of the station

Thanks! Every single underground station on the Q line has a unique tile pattern, so we've taken texture shots for the walls at every single station along the line.Northern Line wrote:That wall tiling looks immaculate. I do like the tiling, it brings along the uniqueness of the station

Correct signage, object and stair placement has been put in as well.

Thanks! We are doing our best to make this route as realistic as possible, which entails using photorealistic textures for everything and anything in the stations. Even every single piece of signage is placed exactly where it is in real life, and we are trying as hard as we can to implement this level of detailing while minimizing FPS impact.

A preview of 49th Street, a station right next to Times Square and the right under the theatre district on Broadway in Manhattan:

On a related note, the R38 and R32 trains have been released on BVEStation. These trains will be two of several that can be used on the Q line.
The R32 railcars were built in 1964-1965 and are still running on the C and J lines. They will be retired by 2017.Â
The R38 railcars were built in 1966-1967 are now retired, with one pair of cars preserved for the NY transit museum. This pair of cars (Cars 4028 and 4029) are the first two cars of the R38 for openBVE.Â

Additionally, the M7 EMU has been released. There are two different models of this car, the M7 and M7A, both modeled in impeccable detail with a full 3D interior and 3D cab.

Thanks guys! Every single building along the route in real life is being modeled in the openBVE version. Together with the other people developing the route, we canvassed the entire line taking photos for textures for every building.

Re: New York City Transit (Q) Line and NYCTA Trains WIP
This looks great! Sorry if this has been asked before, but why is it that all the NYCTA routes don't have any people on the platforms? I love the 6 line and would happily play it in openBVE for hours, but the lack of people makes it a bit spooky, I revert to London Underground because of that!
Re: New York City Transit (Q) Line and NYCTA Trains WIP
This looks amazing and has been WIP for a while now. DJ Hammers, when will this be released?
