No plugin found that is capable of loading texture
I have just re-installed Open Bve on W7 and downloaded routes and trains from http://londonbvetube.weebly.com/northern-line.html locating files in UserData/Legacy Content\Railway\Object ... Route ...Sound etc.
On launch and having selected the route the image is B&W. Looking at log file it would seem the program if not able to render the textures, typical entries:
No plugin found that is capable of loading texture D:\DTDocs\OpenBve\Data\In-game\logo.png.
No plugin found that is capable of loading texture D:\DTDocs\OpenBve\UserData\LegacyContent\Train\lt1995_openbve\cab_view\tso.png.
File Texture.BmpGifJpegPngTiff.dll is available in the plugin folder Openbve\data\plugins.
Any Ideas?

1. You run Odakyufan's OpenBVE?
2. Tried installing SDL?

I'd try re-installing openBVE again, make sure you tell 7zip to overwrite the existing files as it sounds like a file has gotten it's self in the wrong place.

Given it a go.
Downloaded a fresh 7z from http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?ilsqssqoa4fl33q which has given version 1.4.2.0.
Still needed a copy of SDL.dll to get started
NB: installed .net 4.5 in the meantime - impact unknown.
Copied back my userdata and things are looking much better!
NB: for other relative newbies - not not install in C:\program files all sorts of pain regarding write authority. Much better in a user directory who is going to actually use the sim.
Thanks
