Is this kosher?

I found this site exists, not seen or heard of it before.

Thing is, and this is worrying, when I looked to register and log in, Thunderbird sent me a confirmation key and Firefox reckoned it's a scam.
It is also connected to the link on here from the old bvewiki pages, so it might be genuine. It certainly LOOKS good.

So, is anyone on this board signed up to it, or know any more about it??

Wikia is a kosher platform for sure. It's especially known for being the host of both Memory Alpha (the Star Trek encyclopedia in strict canon) and Memory Beta (the Star Trek encyclopedia in extended canon + fanon). Also, Thunderbird quite often considers mail potential scam. This simply means one should check for sure, if the sender is really what he seems to be (so e.g. if it really is BVE Worldwide and not BVE W0rldw|de) and if he is right to get the data he requests.
