Running using AI...
Hi Gang...
As a Newbie ... I was taking "Gray's" suggestion about running a Route using the AI....
Which I first took a Picture of the Timetable and printed it ...
As you know from other post I have been setting up Axis for things like Throttle & Brakes....
Here is what I found out ... AI only runs when all controls are set to Keyboard... and Will not work with
having a Joystick Axis set....
First I exported the controller setup.. with axis setup...
So to fix this I had to set every thing back to Keyboard... and then exported it as "Orginal Settings"...
Now to use AI, I simply import the Keyboard settings ... and let it rip....
then when I want to run it without the AI I simply import the other settings...
Keep in mind I am a newbie and there may be away around this issue....

Re: Running using AI...
Just unplug your joystick and you should be fine.
P.S. this bug has existed since the implementation of Joystick support and AI...

Hi alvinhochun..
Thanks for the reply... Unplugging the Joysticks (Yes more that one)
is not an option... Reason is Windows 7 reassigns Joystick numbers...
and effects the setup once reconnected....
It is actually easier to have two controller profiles one with Keyboard
and one with controllers ... This seems simple enough
Again Thanks
Ed

Perhaps you don't know, in the settings page there is an option to disable joystick.
