Ideas are not bad, but you also need the hands and brain to actually make them happen. So, who's in for that?
Re: idea for bve routes and steam trains
Perhaps I'll be able to somehow help out with the Chiltern Main Line?

Re: idea for bve routes and steam trains
Hmm, I could get started if I knew how to get track maps/gradient diagrams... Timetables aren't a concern as of yet... (also, Snow Hill to Marylebone or the other way around?)

Snow Hill to Marylebone it is, I guess.
Anyone know where I can get track maps for the modern-era Chiltern Main Line?

Re: idea for bve routes and steam trains
Google maps in satellite view will give you the directional info you need, though not the gradients. It is possible to work out the curves and all that stuff, though it is time consuming stitching images together and enhancing them to make it clear enough to see the track line. I did the IWR this way, as it was a real route, though it was only about 30 miles.
Re: idea for bve routes and steam trains
@dragOnflamez - Found this, contains a lot of info (line speeds etc etc). Might be of use.

Re: idea for bve routes and steam trains
Speaking about steam... we have an enthusiast route here...
The second one obviously not steam, but an old diesel. Can be found also in FBT. :-)
